The US will not publish answers to Russia’s security proposals – Blinken
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the American side will not publish a response to Russia’s security proposals and expects similar steps from the Kremlin.
He clarified that this could negatively affect diplomacy and the results of negotiations.
Blinken said that the documents contain concerns of Washington and its allies about Russia’s actions.
– How to respond to the written response of the United States depends on Russia, – said the Secretary of State.
There are “very positive things” in the US response, within the framework of which America hopes to find “common ground” with Russia for further diplomatic negotiations.
Washington is ready to continue the dialogue with Moscow in those areas where it is possible.
Anthony Blinken stressed that all US responses to Russian proposals were coordinated with allies and Ukraine.
The Secretary of State announced talks with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov regarding these documents in the coming days.
