Ukraine and the world were horrified by the numerous facts of bullying and inhuman cruelty that the Russian military committed against civilians in the captured Bucha, Irpen, Gostomel and surrounding villages.

On April 6, the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches spoke with a statement about the facts of the genocide of the Ukrainian people committed by invaders in the Kiev region.

A month of temporary occupation led not only to large-scale destruction of residential areas, playgrounds, hospitals and other social institutions, but also to the brutal destruction of the civilian population.

Hundreds, and perhaps even thousands of innocent Ukrainians in a few weeks they were tortured and killed. Now every state in the world must not remain silent.

Every state in the world must recognize the genocide of the Ukrainian people during the Russian invasion in 2022 and condemn the ideology of the “Russian world” as justifying the genocide of peoples and the destruction of entire states, – noted in the AUCCRO.
