There are no waves, – the Ground Forces explained what is happening with mobilization in Ukraine

Ukraine has been mobilized since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. It has not stopped since February 24.

This was stated by the head of the personnel department of the headquarters of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Roman Gorbach.

“There are no waves of mobilization. In most cases, citizens are called to the territorial recruitment centers to clarify military credentials. The decision to mobilize is made after the conclusion of the medical commission on fitness for military service,” Gorbach said.

Who is needed for the army

According to Gorbach, if a person has not done military service before, he ends up in training centers. There, a conscript receives knowledge in certain specialties. After that, the serviceman enters military units for specific positions.

The head of the personnel department noted that citizens who are mobilized with military service experience and a short break in service can immediately get into combat military units. Gorbach stressed that now the decisive stage of the war and the defense of the state is the responsibility of everyone.

Today we need specialists, both for new weapons provided by partners, and and to replenish losses. First of all, personnel are mobilized in certain registered military specialties,” Gorbach said.
