One of the issues is water supply and lack of water. It remains the number one issue in the city. This was announced by the adviser to the Mariupol mayor Petr Andryushchenko.

According to him, the restoration of centralized water supply, as expected, has moved to “zilch”. This brought people the occasional trickle in the taps of the first floors and lakes in the streets.

Providing drinking water is not enough. There are long queues at the spill points, but even here there is not enough water for everyone. Particularly at risk are people with limited mobility and the elderly, who cannot independently overcome kilometers to collect water, – Andryushchenko said.
