Zhdanov spoke about the risk of encircling the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Lugansk region/Collage 24 channels

Now in the East of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers manage to gradually advance due to their advantage. In particular, in the Lugansk region, there is a possibility of encirclement of Ukrainian troops.

This was reported to Channel 24 by military expert Oleg Zhdanov. He stressed that the Russian army now has a fire advantage over our military, namely aviation and artillery.

Enemy advantage

According to Zhdanov , artillery is the basis of the fire engagement of the enemy. That is why Russian infidels simply destroy Ukrainian positions along with our defenders.

As a military expert noted, this way the enemies have the opportunity to move from line to line of defense. At the same time, the Ukrainian military is forced to either withdraw or lose people along with the border.

Threat of cordon

Zhdanov noted that the continuation of this trend dangerous for our soldiers. In particular, there may be a risk that the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk region will be in the ring.

Unfortunately, such a threat exists, but the probability is low. Thanks to our resistance and especially the actions of the Ukrainian artillery (although now it is not enough), we are resisting and trying to inflict a fiery defeat on the enemy,” Zhdanov said.

He also stressed that our defenders mostly hold their lines. In addition, in some directions they even inflict small counterattacks and force the enemy to retreat to their original positions.

• Serhiy Gaidai, head of the Luhansk regional military administration, said that due to significant losses, the Russian military was forced to retreat near the settlements of Severodonetsk, Toshkovka and Oskolonovka, in the Luhansk region. At the same time, the invaders are trying to reach our rear in order to damage the logistics of the region.
• The Joint Forces grouping said that throughout the day, May 27, Russian monsters hit 49 Ukrainian settlements in the Donbass. As a result of shelling in the Donetsk region, 4 people were killed, 5 more were injured. At the same time, there is no information about the victims in the Lugansk region, because it is difficult to determine their number due to continuous shelling.
