Ukraine is preparing for a counteroffensive, in connection with which it receives Western weapons and equipment. The Russian invaders understand this and are trying to take some action, in particular, dig trenches and desperately storm.

A veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, a reserve major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military expert Alexei Getman told Channel 24 about this. He noted that our previous counter-offensive actions came as a complete surprise to the invaders.

Why are the invaders storming Ugledar

Hetman noted that the invaders, in anticipation of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are trying to neutralize as many of our forces as possible and take dominant positions in order to repel the attacks.

In his opinion, this is one of the reasons why the invaders continue to storm Ugledar. Another reason is an attempt to attack from there to the North and try to surround Maryinka or Avdeevka with at least some of our troops.
