The most prestigious film award “Oscar” for the second time refused to speak to President Volodymyr Zelensky. This testifies to the level of understanding of the modern world by the organizers of the event.

And also about their level of erudition and intelligence. This opinion was expressed by Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak to Channel 24 .

Oscar organizers still live in pre-war illusions

Podolyak stressed that the position of the organizers and leaders of the film award looks very strange. They say another “we are out of politics”, and instead give the award to the Navalny manifesto. This clearly shows their position and has no other interpretations.

So, probably, these people still live in pre-war illusions. For them, Ukraine is somewhere far away, and Russia is something big and powerful. Therefore, our state must scale up the work in order to fully explain to the entire modern world what is really important today. The war in Ukraine is not even about territories or values, but in general about the future existence of mankind.

It's a little surprising that Hollywood, which has to constantly talk about this, which makes these patriotic films, does not understand the key. Ukraine is not about a small war in a region unknown to them. This is about the fundamental values in which they will exist for the next 50 years, – stressed the adviser to the head of the OPU.

Navalny's speech shows what's wrong with the Russian opposition

At the same time, Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, performed on the Oscars stage. Podolyak called her speech “a little strange.”

So, Navalnaya spoke about the persecution of her husband and usurpation in Russia. At the same time, she did not say a word about the fact that this usurpation led to the key tragedy of the 21st century – a full-fledged war with Ukraine.

This indicates an incorrect prioritization in the Navalny family and in general in the Russian liberal opposition,” the adviser to the head of the OPU explained.

He stressed that Russia in its current form cannot exist. Even if there is a replacement for Vladimir Putin by someone else. So, if the aggressor country remains the same in terms of political structure, then its values will not fundamentally change even with a partial change of political elites. And it's not safe for us.

“This war must be ended not only territorially, but also so that a transformation begins in Russia, in particular, the value level,” Podolyak summed up.
