President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the international community to impose new sanctions against Russia's banking and financial system. This should be the reaction to the terrible deeds of the invaders in the South of Ukraine.

Zelensky spoke about this in his nightly video message, channel 24 reports.

The Russians are driving people to starvation in the South of Ukraine

The invaders are simply awfultreat civilians in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Officials and literally everyone who is considered prominent in the life of communities is kidnapped there. They build torture chambers, blackmail teachers, steal money and humanitarian aid. As a result, people are simply driven to starvation.

So the Russian invaderstry to subdue these territories, and also introduce a ruble zone there.

Zelensky requires sanctions from the international community. In particular, against the banking and financial system of Russia. In addition, an embargo on the supply of energy carriers is needed. After all, the invaders are literally blackmailing Western societies with them.

The President asks to resist

Zelensky thanked everyone, both military and civilian, who are fighting against the Russians in the south of Ukraine. This makes it much harder for them to take control of the territory.

Sabotage the order of the occupiers. Don't cooperate with them. Test it. We must hold out so that Russia does not manage to mutilate life in other cities of Ukraine, as in Donetsk and Lugansk,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
