They tried to land troops: Zhdanov explained the difficulty of liberating the Kinburn Spit

The Russian invaders control the Kinburn Spit, from where they periodically fire. It's extremely difficult to get them out.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told about this on his YouTube channel, Channel 24 reports. According to him, the Ukrainian military keep this territory under fire control. But it is almost impossible to knock out the invaders from there.

There were attempts to land

As Zhdanov noted, now Ukraine has the ability to fire on Russian occupiers on the territory of the Kinburn Spit. only from artillery . The Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly inflict such strikes on the locations of the invaders.

It is very difficult to free this territory. After all, apart from artillery, nothing gets there. Ukraine keeps the Kinburn Spit under fire control. And after the liberation of the right-bank part of the Kherson region, there were even attempts to land troops there in order to gain a foothold there, – Zhdanov noted.

Unfortunately, these attempts were not successful. The invaders took a number of measures that helped them gain a foothold on the Kinburn Spit. At one time, Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones were also launched from there. However, later, after accurate hits from the APU, they stopped doing this.
