On May 28, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful counterattack in the Kherson region. This cannot be considered a very big success, but it was enough to make the Russians scared.

Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President's Office, described this in more detail. This is reported by Channel 24 with a link to his broadcast on YouTube “Feygin Live”.

A very good day for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South

These events took place near the village of Davidov Brid in the Berislav region. There, the Ukrainian military launched a counterattack offensive under the cover of aviation – attack aircraft.

Then a Russian Su-35 fighter appeared in the sky. Fortunately, he could not interfere, as he was immediately shot down by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It looked like an attempt to cut the right-bank grouping of Russians. They (Enemies – Channel 24) were very scared, – Arestovich said.

He added that the very next day it would be possible to confidently say whether the operation became counter-offensive. However, as a counterattack, it is quite promising.

According to the adviser to the head of the OP, it really was a good day in this direction. This, in his opinion, in particular, is evidenced by the “birdfall”, that is, a large number of downed air targets.
