“They will come to us for turnips”: Putin spoke about the “hard life” of Europeans due to sanctions against the Russian Federation

The Russian dictator believes that Europeans have suffered much more because of the sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation for aggression against Ukraine.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that in the near future, residents of European countries will have to travel to Russia and buy turnips there.

Putin stated this while speaking at the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, according to Russian propaganda media.

Putin said that allegedly Western countries are experiencing a shortage of food due to the imposed sanctions against Russia and crop failures of vegetables. He said that now the Europeans are offered to eat turnips instead of lettuce.

At the same time, he noted that the harvest in Russia is much better than in Western countries, so Europeans will probably need to go to Russia for turnips.

“The harvest in the Russian Federation significantly exceeds European indicators, they will even have to go to Russia for turnips,” Putin said.

Recall that earlier Vladimir Putin once again complained about the West and Ukraine and said that all international problems began after the collapse of the USSR .

According to the CIA, Putin is convinced that he “can take the Ukrainians with this war of attrition” and that he can deplete Ukraine's Western partners.
