Sergei Gaidai explained that Belogorovka was the last outpost of the Lugansk region. There, the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not give the enemy the opportunity to reach the administrative borders of the region.

Gaidai commented on the liberation of Belogorovka

According to Sergei Gaidai, Russian troops sometimes entered there, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the settlement.

Currently, this settlement is already controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but this is not a counteroffensive, not the beginning of the de-occupation of the Luhansk region, – said Sergey Gaidai.

He explained that this is necessary in order to provide the Armed Forces with a safe territory.

“We are focusing on the Liman. God forbid, when the Liman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is liberated, then the Luhansk region begins beyond the river. We we will expect the de-occupation of the Luhansk region,” the head of the UVA explained.
