The captain and major of one of the companies of the Russian armed forces were informed in absentia of suspicion. He inhumanly tortured a Ukrainian priest and a terrorist fighter during the occupation of the village of Bogdanovka in the Brovarsky district of the Kyiv region.
The Brovary district prosecutor's office opened a criminal case under the article on ill-treatment of prisoners of war and the civilian population. We are talking about a military company of the 15th brigade of the 2nd Guards Army of the Central Military District of the Russian Armed Forces. , in March, the captain ordered his subordinates to search in the temporarily occupied village of Bogdanovka for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Terodefense, law enforcement officers and former participants in the ATO. The invaders were supposed to take them prisoner and literally “knock” out of them operational information about the defense forces in the region.
The Russians managed to capture a trooper. The man was handcuffed and placed in the basement. The major of the Russian Armed Forces interrogated the prisoner, using physical force, intimidated and humiliated him. When the Terodefense soldier was on his knees with his hands cuffed behind his back, the major struck him with the butt of a machine gun on his back, arms and legs.
In addition, the Russian military stepped on the prisoner's limbs and threatened him with a weapon. After torture, the man was left in the basement without food and with minimal water supplies for several days.
Later, the captive was brought to the central square of the settlement, from where the civilian population, including members of families of the Terrorist defender. Before the eyes of civilians, the captain of the brigade beat an unarmed man, put a pistol to his head and fired shots into the air.
Mocking a priest
In addition to the Terror Defense member, the rector of a local church became a victim of a Russian major. The occupier inflicted bodily harm on the priest. He made the man take off all his clothes, after which he put a hat on his head so that it covered his eyes. In addition, the Russian tied the hands of the rector of the temple with adhesive tape behind his back and illegally interrogated.
