Tropical Storm Rose has been raging in the North Atlantic since Sunday, September 19. This was reported by specialists from the US National Center for Hurricane Observation.

The researchers determined that the speed of the gusts of wind within the hurricane exceeds 18 m / s. Now the storm is located 595 km west of the Cape Verde Islands, where the West African state of Cape Verde is located, and is moving northwest at a speed of 7.1 m / s.

Rose was the 17th storm to be named in the entire 2021 hurricane season.

Previously, the site wrote about the victims of rainstorms and floods that were caused by Hurricane Ida on the East Coast of the United States. As a result, 82 people died. Most of the victims of the disaster are in the states of New York and New Jersey, there are also many deaths in the states of Pennsylvania and Louisiana.
