Trump reacted to attack in Vienna

US President Donald Trump responded to the attack in Vienna on his Twitter account.

The American leader said that attacks on civilians must stop. He added that the US supports Austria, France and all of Europe in the fight against terrorists. “Our prayers are with the people of Vienna after another dastardly terrorist attack in Europe,” Trump wrote.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his condolences to the people of Austria. He added that after the terrorist attacks in France, an allied country fell victim to the attack. “This is our Europe. Our enemies must know who they are dealing with. We will not give up anything, ”the French leader concluded.

On the evening of 2 November, several armed men opened fire in six different parts of Vienna. The first shots were fired at 20:00 local time (22:00 Moscow time) at the synagogue in the center of the capital. The security officials managed to shoot one of the attackers, later four were detained. The Austrian Interior Ministry proceeds from the fact that the incident was a terrorist attack. According to the latest data, the number of victims of the attack has reached three people.
