Turkey refuses to serve Russian and Belarusian aircraft Airbus and Boeing
Russian aircraft will have to stop for refueling in Sochi.
Turkey will no longer serve Airbus and Boeing aircraft used by Russian and Belarusian companies. The corresponding decision was made in the Turkish Ministry of Customs and Trade.
This is reported by the publication AirportHaber.
Thus, restrictions related, among other things, to refueling aircraft were imposed on Aeroflot, AZUR Air, Pegas Fly, S7 Airlines, Utair, Yamal and Russia. Maintenance services in Turkey have been canceled for ships that contain at least a quarter of parts made in the United States, as well as for private, cargo, commercial and charter aircraft.
Now Russian aircraft will have to stop for refueling in Sochi.
Earlier, we reported that Turkey is discussing the possibility of “opening” the Bosphorus for the US military so that they can pick up an American MQ-9 Reaper drone shot down by Russian aircraft. Ankara advocates a “smart solution” to the US drone incident.
