Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu expressed condolences in connection with the death of a Russian tourist in the country. The appeal was posted on his Twitter page.
“I express my condolences to the family of our Russian guest, who died in a boat crash in Alanya, and I wish the survivors a speedy recovery. We take care of all the needs of the victims, ”Cavusoglu wrote in Russian.
As a rule, the Foreign Minister makes his statements in Turkish. In addition, condolences are usually expressed in the event of a large death toll.
On November 3, a Russian citizen was killed in a boat crash in Turkey. The body was found during search and rescue operations in the hold of a sunken ship. The deceased was a man born in 1983.
An excursion boat with a group of tourists capsized 100 meters from the coast in the Phosphoric Cave (Fosforlu Mağara) area in Alanya. Later, a video with footage of the rescue operation appeared on the network.
