Microblogging service Twitter has introduced design changes. The platform now uses the Chirp font, Twitter's press service said.

All Western languages in the service are left aligned. There is less blue in the design. The read button is now black.

The Twitter interface has also been updated. On social media, we removed the dividers to create more white space, and also reduced the amount of gray background. The service has added new colors to increase contrast and draw additional attention to photos and videos.

Earlier it was reported that Twitter founder Jack Dorsey put up his first tweet for sale in an online auction. He wrote it in the spring of 2006 when he was testing the service.
