Our state expects tangible practical results of the Ukraine-EU Summit and a positive assessment of the implementation of the recommendations of the European Commission. The re-accession negotiations should begin before the end of 2023.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba during an online speech at the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU, informs Channel 24.

“No games or narrow political interests should interfere”

Kuleba noted that our state has high expectations from the Ukraine-EU Summit, which is scheduled for February 3, and the joint meeting of the Government of Ukraine and the EU College the day before.

“We are counting on tangible practical results of both events,” the minister stressed. He also added that Ukraine is finalizing the implementation of the recommendations of the European Commission and expects a positive report this spring.

In addition, our state expects the inclusion of a positive assessment of its efforts to implement the recommendations in the final declaration of the Summit.

< p class="bloquote cke-markup">We are convinced that the pre-accession negotiations should start as soon as possible after the implementation by Ukraine of the recommendations and the positive assessment of the European Commission. Zelensky told when Ukraine will begin negotiations on joining the EU
