For a successful counter-offensive, Ukraine needs more tanks from the West than Kyiv is currently planning to provide. One battalion of Leopard 2 tanks is not enough.

This opinion was expressed by the Polish general, ex-commander of the ground forces of Poland, Waldemar Skshipchak.

He noted that for an effective counteroffensive, the Ukrainians need 16-20 battalions of modern tanks.
