Iran continues to supply drones and missiles to Russia. The occupiers pay special attention to obtaining ballistic missiles.

This was announced on the air of the telethon by Yuriy Ignat, speaker of the Air Force of Ukraine. We are talking about Fateh and Zolfaghar missiles, which Ukraine cannot counteract at this stage.

The main threat that hangs in the air and can be implemented is, of course, Iranian missiles. Russia has not abandoned its intentions to receive from Iran both kamikaze drones and missiles, which were announced earlier – Fateh and Zolfaghar, – Ignat said.

The speaker clarified that these missiles are ballistic, and Ukraine is against ballistics at this stage can not counteract.

According to the military, it is possible to destroy these installations in positions, but the Ukrainian partners understand that, in particular, Patriot PAC-3 and SAMP-T are needed against ballistic threats.

What are the specifications of these missiles

Zolfaghar is an Iranian short-range solid-propellant ballistic missile. It is believed to be descended from the BDRM Fateh-110 family. Some Zolfaghar models are equipped with electro-optical guidance systems, which allow operators to control missiles at the final approach to targets.
