Ukrainians helped almost a hundred illegal immigrants to get from Belarus to Poland

The largest group of border violators were citizens of Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq.

During the day on March 18, 90 illegal migrants from Asia and Africa tried to get from the territory of Belarus to Poland. 4 citizens of Ukraine helped them in this.

This was announced by the Polish border protection service on its Twitter.

Illegals were stopped near the border posts of Belovezha, Melnik and Cheremkha.

The largest group of border violators (31 people) consisted mainly of citizens of Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq. In addition, among the detainees were citizens of the African countries of Sudan and Yemen.

Polish border guards also reported that 4 citizens of Ukraine were detained with assistance in illegal border crossing.

Recall that in the fall of 2021, after the migration crisis provoked by the Lukashenka regime, the flow of migrants who tried to illegally enter the EU through Belarus increased sharply. Poland, after the storming of the border by migrants from Belarus in October 2022, completed the construction of a 187-kilometer wall on the border with Belarus.
