Ukrainians in some regions will be able to get firewood for free for the heating season

< p _ngcontent-sc90="" class="news-annotation">Inhabitants of the areas adjacent to the war zone will be provided with firewood. More than 560 million hryvnias were allocated for assistance from the state budget.

The funds will be distributed in accordance with the proposals of the military administrations. Residents of 8 regions of Ukraine can receive firewood.

So that every family can warm their home

Free firewood will be given to residents of the following regions:

  • Donetsk;
  • Zaporozhye;
  • Nikolaev;
  • Sumy;
  • Kharkov;
  • < li>Kherson;

  • Dnepropetrovsk;
  • Chernihiv.

The corresponding initiative of the Ministry of Reintegration has already been supported by the Cabinet of Ministers. Regional military administrations must purchase firewood and distribute among the people. The state compensates all expenses.

In total, they plan to spend 562.5 million hryvnia on such assistance. Officials insist that everything possible should be done so that during the heating season every Ukrainian can warm their home.

The procedure for purchasing firewood has been simplified in Ukraine

Residents of our state can purchase firewood by directly contacting the forestry. The corresponding procedure was simplified at the end of September 2022. To buy fuel materials, you can write an application to the forestry, select the goods and pay.

They plan to launch the DrovaЄ online store soon. So Ukrainians will be able to buy firewood without leaving their homes.

Problems with heating due to the war

  • In the Lugansk region, the invaders destroyed all the necessary infrastructure, so there will be no heating season in general.
  • Since the beginning of a full-scale war, the occupiers have often hit boiler rooms. In particular, at the end of August, the invaders blew up one of them in Mariupol.
  • Earlier, the mayor of Melitopol said that the Russian army would bypass boiler houses in order to destroy them and blame our defenders for everything.
  • According to As of the end of September, the invaders damaged 350 heating facilities. In particular, 335 boiler houses, of which 13 were completely destroyed, 11 thermal power plants (4 were destroyed) and 3 thermal power plants.
