Russian occupiers stole pension money in Melitopol, which is why people cannot pay the funds. Currently, the Ukrainian side is negotiating with the invaders to return the money.
The invaders stole almost 3 million hryvnia from the Ukrposhta office in Melitopol. Igor Smelyansky, General Director of the enterprise, spoke about this on the air of the only telethon.
These funds are intended for the issuance of pensions, social benefits and wages.
Such an unpleasant mission, but it exists: we are negotiating with the occupiers to return these funds. Last month, we paid 95% of pensions in Melitopol and we will do everything to make it the same this month,” Smelyansky said.
Note that on April 5, Russian troops in Melitopol temporarily occupied “Ukrposhta” almost 3 million hryvnia.
