The two lucky ones will leave Earth on a commercial flight scheduled for early 2022. There will be one winner of the drawing, he will be able to choose who to give the second ticket to.
Applications for the lottery will be accepted until September 1, and the name of the winner will be announced on September 29. In addition to the flight into space, the chosen one will have a tour of the spaceport, which will be led by Branson.
You can register for the drawing for free. But cash donations can increase the chances of winning: for $ 100, the name of the participant will be marked on the list two thousand times. However, the maximum number of marks in the list cannot exceed six thousand times.
The draw will be held in partnership with the Omaze charity platform. The collected money will be donated to Space For Humanity, a non-profit organization dedicated to “expanding access to space.”
