In India, more than 20 million people have already contracted the coronavirus. The country crossed another psychological mark on Tuesday, over the past day, more than 350 thousand new cases were revealed, the MIR 24 TV channel reports.

Local hospitals have been unable to cope for a long time: there are not enough beds, medicines and oxygen. Volunteers set up tent camps, where they help everyone who did not have enough space in hospitals. Right on the streets, they are trying to save the dying, provide them with oxygen. New patients arrive approximately every 20 minutes.

“No one should die for lack of oxygen! These days, this is the only thing that millions of people need. If oxygen is available to the sick, they will survive. That is why we created an oxygen camp completely free of charge. We do not charge a single penalty, in addition, we cover all the costs of patients who cannot afford to come to this impromptu camp, ”said Gurpreet Singh Ramii.
