At the end of August, information appeared that the Armed Forces of Ukraine went on the offensive in the South, but after some time the reports subsided. In fact, it is too early to talk about this now, one should be patient and wait for official statements from the military command.

This opinion Channel 24 was expressed by military observer Denis Popovich. Russia, in turn, is trying to pass off the Ukrainian counteroffensive as a failure.

Popovich said that the offensive in the South would take place without deep tank breakthroughs, a large concentration of artillery on the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to methodically destroy the logistical routes of the infidels, their supply systems, command posts, warehouses, etc.

This is how we gradually find their weak points and try to break through there, – noted the military observer.

He added that there is no need now at every step to shout that the Ukrainian banner is already over Kherson. The dismissal of the city, in the current conditions, is not a matter of one week.

“Then it turns out that not everything is so simple and pressure on the military and command begins,” the military observer emphasized.

Popovich does not rule out that, in addition to Kherson, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may attack somewhere else. But if we constantly talk about it, we thereby prepare the enemy for this.

So we can disrupt the plans of our troops. Therefore, I agree that there is no need to rush. Information should be provided in a dosed manner and only from those who have the right to talk about it,” he stressed.
