The situation in Russian-occupied Mariupol is deteriorating every day. At the same time, thousands of local residents may die due to an epidemiological catastrophe in the city.

This was announced to Channel 24 by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko. He noted that now 150-170 thousand people remain in the Russian-occupied city.

According to Andryushchenko, the number of Mariupol residents in the city is sharply decreasing due to mortality. In addition, deportation by the occupiers, which is now actively gaining momentum.

The threat of an epidemiological catastrophe

He stressed that the epidemiological situation is deteriorating every day. This is influenced by rising temperatures, experiments by Russian infidels with water supply, as well as a global complication of the process of reburial of people who were buried by locals in the yards of high-rise buildings.

All this makes the epidemiological situation extremely critical. If nothing changes now, then according to our estimates, only because of these threats we will lose another 10,000 people by the end of the year,” Andryushchenko said.

He also added that in the occupied Mariupol, the death rate due to reasons. In addition, he stressed that now the evacuation of residents to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities is impossible.
