WhatsApp developers have begun to distribute an update that updates the application interface for iPhone owners. So far, we are only talking about changing the appearance of calls inside the messenger.
Note that over the past few weeks, the WhatsApp team has been actively testing the new interface. And, apparently, the developers were happy with the result.
9to5Mac, for example, writes that the revamped call design does make it easier to add more people to an ongoing call.
IPhone owners should be particularly pleased with the update, as the call menu is now very similar to that of FaceTime, the native video calling app for iOS and macOS.
It is not known how soon something similar will appear on Android. Perhaps for fans of the OS from Google, the WhatsApp team will release a different interface for the call menu.
