Users of the popular messenger WhatsApp can get the option to automatically delete messages 24 hours after they were sent. This is reported by WABetaInfo.
The developers intend to enable users to automatically delete messages sent via WhatsApp, 24 hours after they were sent to the interlocutors. The feature will be available in both single and group chats.
This option is expected to appear in a future update to the app.
As Rambler reported, earlier vulnerabilities were found in WhatsApp, due to which attackers can easily deactivate the messenger on the user's phone, and then deprive him of access to the account.
