Kornienko urged the security forces to work on evidence/DW

The Verkhovna Rada soon appealed to the international community regarding the recognition of Russia's war crimes as genocide of the Ukrainian people. Parliamentarians call on law enforcement agencies and lawyers to work on evidence.

This was announced by the first vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Kornienko. The resolution is planned to be adopted at the next plenary session.

So far, not many countries and parliaments call the atrocities of Russia in Ukraine a genocide,” Kornienko noted.

That is why the authorities are looking for the necessary wording with international lawyers so that everything “is verified”. To document the crimes of the Russian military unite all law enforcement agencies of the country.

According to Kornienko, it is necessary to help the Office of the Prosecutor General to carefully document everything that was seen in Bucha, Borodyanka, Dymer and can be seen in other cities.
