Mariusz Blaszczak noted that the war between Russia and Ukraine has created a new security architecture in Europe and around the world. In addition, she rebuilt Polish-Ukrainian relations.

Blaszczak, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense of Poland, noted that the current geopolitical situation and full-scale war has accelerated military cooperation between Ukraine and Poland. This process is consistent and far-sighted. The Minister answered the question whether the two countries will create a military alliance.

The Minister stressed that Poland is helping Ukraine on many levels. Blaschak added: he has no doubt that after the end of the war, the Ukrainian army will be the strongest and most experienced in Europe.

A strong, independent, rich Ukraine is in our national interests, but, as reality shows, the most important and effective strength of existing alliances. First of all, it concerns NATO. Blaschak emphasized.

Ukraine wants security guarantees from NATO

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he wants to see NATO steps forward. The President stressed that Ukraine wants security guarantees from the Alliance even before joining it. The President stressed that the timing of joining NATO does not depend on Ukraine.

Zelensky added that Ukraine thanks all the countries that help it fight for its freedom. At the same time, strategic security guarantees are a must.
