The Ministry of Social Policy has been blocking tenders for the purchase of “baby packaging” for almost 3 months, which parents receive at the birth of a child. Instead, they offer “monetary compensation” that does not cover even half of the retail value of things in the “package”.

Sokolovsky is convinced that in a country where both the birth rate and the standard of living decline during the war, the support of young parents is critical. In addition, the purchase of at least 50,000 “baby packs” will provide jobs for 2,000 Ukrainians. Because the lion's share of the package is produced in Ukraine.
