Soviet and Russian historian, academician Alexander Chubaryan accepts congratulations today. The world-renowned scientist is 90 years old, according to MIR 24.
For many years he headed the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Now he is its scientific advisor. Chubaryan won recognition as an authoritative researcher of the history of relations between Russia and Europe in the last century. As the head of the National Committee of Historians, he is actively working on the creation of textbooks for schools and universities.
Chubaryan is a full holder of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, laureate of the Russian State Prize in the field of science and technology, holder of the French Legion of Honor.
