Xiaomi may release a cheap alternative to key fobs for finding things Apple AirTag
A recently published patent on the web revealed that Xiaomi is working on its own version of tags for finding things, like the Apple AirTag.
The company applied for a patent back in 2017. It describes a device used to find other objects. Xiaomi may release it as a smart label. It should obviously be cheaper than the Apple AirTag presented in the spring. In Russia, a keychain from Cupertinos costs three thousand rubles apiece. A set of four is estimated at almost 10 thousand rubles.
Since only a patent has been discovered, it is not yet clear exactly when the Xiaomi tag will be released. But, most likely, the company will not delay the launch if such a product is really in development.
