Zelensky also addressed the participants of the conference in London to discuss the International Tribunal and called on experts to make sure that the aggressor was punished.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with Austrian Chancellor Negammer about the creation of a special tribunal for Russia's aggression against our state.

Zelensky announced this during an address on March 20.

“I thanked Austria for joining the group that is preparing the creation of a special tribunal for Russia's aggression against our state. (…) It is not enough to bring to justice the perpetrators of crimes generated by aggression. It is also necessary to punish – completely just and legal – for the original crime itself, which gave rise to all the other crimes of this war. That is what the special tribunal will provide. Every day we bring its creation closer,” the president added.

He also said that on March 20, the joint work of Ukraine with the International Criminal Court was discussed in London during the conference of European justice ministers.

The President of Ukraine especially noted the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the 56th and 57th separate motorized infantry brigades.

“Thank you guys! Thank you for the strength and resilience in the defense of Bakhmut,” he said.

Zelensky also expressed his gratitude to the soldiers of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade.
