Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against those whom the Russians use for transportation by rail road soldiers and equipment. We are talking about 185 people and companies.

The head of state said this during an evening address to Ukrainians, informs Channel 24. The property of sanctioned persons and companies will be confiscated for the needs of Ukraine's defense.

Ukraine will work on blocking assets abroad

Vladimir Zelensky stressed that Ukraine will work to ensure that the assets of the 185 individuals and entities against which they have been deposited are confiscated abroad and restrictions are also applied against them.

I thank everyone who helps us strengthen sanctions against Russia! And by the way, I thank all the investigators who expose the ways that a terrorist state uses in an attempt to circumvent sanctions,” the President emphasized.

The list of sanctioned companies and individuals has already appeared on the website of the Office of the President. In particular, by decision of the National Security and Defense Council, sanctions were applied to 182 legal entities and against three Russian citizens:

• Valery Matveeva;
• Sergey Belosokhov;
• Vladimir Sroka.
