Cancellation of age restrictions for conscripts in Russia: Zelensky's reaction
According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, intelligence and all defenders are resisting the most brutal offensive of Russian troops in the East of the country. In some places, the enemy strongly prevails – equipment and the number of soldiers.
However, Ukrainian soldiers still inflict significant losses on them, most likely, against this background, the enemy adopted a new decree.
The Russian authorities made a revealing decision – they allowed older people to be hired for contract service. That is, they no longer have enough young people, but the desire to fight still remains. It still takes time to discourage them from this desire, – said the head of our state.
He also stressed that we still need the help of partners, primarily with weapons for Ukraine. Full help – without exceptions and limitations. Emphasizing once again that Ukraine needs help, which will be enough to win.
Russia lifts age restrictions for recruits
Today, May 25 , the Council of the aggressor country adopted a new law that eliminates age limits for contract military service. From now on, contract soldiers over 40 years of age will also be recruited into the Russian army.
